Show Notes

Climate change has long been a difficult problem to approach from an EA perspective. It is far from neglected as a cause area, and yet it is far from solved. It has certain long-term impacts, but their gravity and knock-on implications are fundamentally challenging to quantify. It’s a scientific, political, social, technological problem, woven into every aspect of our way of life, that requires serious effort to address if we are to protect those yet to be born.

This session starts with a short talk and then breaks out by topic to collaborate on a question-gathering discussion, to feed into a project to map the crux unknowns in the EA-Climate Change space. View the original talk and video here.
